To Nashville & my Family!

For the last two weeks I’ve been in CO at Horn Creek leading singing and playing a few informal concerts. I am once again reminded that this is such a great place. Families need to forget the theme parks, spend less, and enjoy these incredible mountains and a week being served by lots of folks who want to see you grow in grace and enjoy each other. Take your summer vacation here!

Anyway, I started to say that I am sitting in the Colorado Springs airport mixing Christmas music (grab a free tune here!), waiting on a flight, and becoming impatient to see my family. I’ve been away for two weeks, and today is Anna-Maraget’s 5th birthday. Her voice on the phone made me tear up. I have not been away from my family for this long for years.

I land in Nashville tonight, worship tomorrow, have rehearsal with Greg Wilbur in the afternoon and evening, and then head HOME for a day before returning to nashville to play much of the music from My Cry Ascends at the PCA General Assembly. Then, back home to load the RV and head back to CO. Whew.
