Two perfect specimens.
Several years ago I met Mark Stoffel, and over time he’s become a great friend. I’ve learned much about music – and – food! He’s a great cook/chef. These days I grill better, I cook better, and I finally bake bread and make the best cappuccinos ever, all because of Mark. I have yet to figure out his potato salad, but it’s easily the best in the midwest. Patsy once commented that she really likes my friendship with Mark….
What has this to do with music? Well, not much other than that I have learned all this on our breaks between recording, which, by the way, we have begun again! We are in the midst of a new Christmas CD. Our first Christmas CD has been a great seller and gets great feedback all the time, and the new one promises to be just as hauting and beautiful, if I do say so myself.
Anyway – here’s to to good bread and coffee! …and a few more recordings in between the baking and sipping.

that looks so good, although i’m not sure it would measure up to my wife’s banana bread with chocolate chips and Gevalia brew. we can’t wait for the new stuff to come out, we listen to Mid Winter’s Eve year-round. yesterday i bought 8 copies of My Cry Acends to pass out. THANKS FOR WHAT YOU DO!!!
