Big Hair

Post image for Big Hair

I grabbed this shot early one morning when the sun was streaming in behind Matthias’ hair. I wish I had hair like that.

Wow… I wonder if he may have some sort of X-Men special mutant powers to go with that!

….a special mutant “fit-throwing” power.

That’s a halo, I’m sure of it. He’s an angel, right? ;-) ~~Rhonda

But of course, Rhonda. ;)

Hey! I have hair like that!….except is brown, not as wavy… and I’m definitely NOT as good looking!

In the fictional realm a ‘mutant’ is one who has special powers that ORIGINATE from genetic mutations, most are feared as they are seen as the next stage in human evolution.
The ‘halo’ on the other hand, the luminous ring found around an astronomical body is often time shown as the head dress of those regarded as divinities or saints. I adhere to neither one.
Rather, I see the image of a precious, innocent child… a reflection of Yah’s creation, captured through the lens of a father who delights in him, even through those fits’ our children regale us with.
in His grip,

This from my 8 yr.old son Joshua….

Have YOU ever watched when a flame reaches it’s highest temperature? …well Mattias’s hair looks as if it’s on fire…yeah!

Question for Nathan: Does Mattias throw many fits…I used to throw many when I was his age!

You’re right, a flame is very hot when it is white!

Answer for Joshua: Matthias does not really throw too many fits, and we are trying to train him to ask nicely for help instead. He mostly has trouble when he is tired or when he just wakes up from a nap, and we understand, because even as adults we start to get frustrated when we are tired. But we still need to train him so that he will become a considerate and joyful young man. Self control is a hard thing to learn! I hope you are learning about this more and more everyday, because self government is always better than someone else having to do it for you.

Peace to you,
nathan
