The Holding Pattern Ends, but the Pattern Holds!

Post image for The Holding Pattern Ends, but the Pattern Holds!

We are no longer waiting….  Last night at 10:08, (June 12th), little, or make that big, Elsa Ruth was born at 9.5lb, 22 inches!  That makes – boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl.  The pattern holds…. Plus, a new portion of our saga now includes our first official motor home birth! It was cramped and crazy, but all worked out just fine. (Pics are below.)

Thank you for all your prayers.  Patsy did not bleed too much and the midwife was able to control what bleeding there was due to the low platelet levels.  We are quite thankful.  It was a harder birth than usual with a few intense moments, but by God’s graciousness and the skill He gave our midwife, and Patsy’s very hard work, a wonderful, if slightly squeezed and headachy, child was given to us.

I’m not much for the medical aspects of all this, but the process and the strength it takes amazes me.  I’m completely worn out, and I didn’t even do much.  I can’t imagine how Patsy feels.  But mostly I think she feels all aglow and ecstatic….

So, here’s to Elsa!  Someone pass out the cyber cigars! (I suppose cyber cigars are healthier…)

Thanks be to the God of Creation, the God of Life, well – the God of Everything.

Hear, Hear! And a large cyber Puff! (I don’t know if the phrase is ‘Hear Hear’ or ‘Here Here’? So I Googled it! It looks as though ‘Hear Hear’ has a consensus) Looks good to me!

Congrats Patsy and Nathan!

Hello Stuarts! And thanks for your email to Anna-Margaret. I have not had a chance to read it to her – but will right now. Mamma and Elsa are doing wonderfully!

Congrats & Praise the Lord! What a beautiful girl and such a sweet name… Elsa Ruth… I love it!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a family at home last night… parked in front of the TV watching the Pull Up a Chair DVD. We watched the concert first and the girls eagerly awaited {and asked about 100 times} “when do we get to the RV part!?” :)

What an encouragement your family is and what a blessing to see you all living out the gospel in your “incubator”… and congrats to incubating and safely delivering another one.

I about fell out of my chair when I saw she was over 9 lbs and delivered in the motor home! Patsy, what an amazing woman you are!!!

We’re from Dothan, AL and loved your concert last month! Justin {my husband} was the one who gave you the “motor home in heaven” cd. We love your music and greatly appreciate your ministry first to your family and then to the rest of us who consider ourselves great fans!!

I’m glad to have found your blog… I’m about to add it to my Reader!
