Wow, it’s been another whirlwind of a week. Once again, I can say that my children are a huge help to me! They help load in and out, set up the table and so much more. Thanks to so many that said hello via facebook, twitter, and this site from the last few concerts in MO & KS! Here’s a little summary:
- 10 days ago: We met great folks at Heart of Life and the Harrisonville Mennonite churches! And, I LOST THE KEYS TO THE MINI-VAN!!!
- 9 days ago: I tried out new and very old material at Redeemer Pres. Church – (see the video below)
- 8 days ago: We had wonderful food and a very fun House Concert at Chris Filer’s place (He’s a Country Artist – check him out). And I learned how to back up my van on a tow dolly because I had lost the keys and could not back it off the thing….. Also, my children got to fish!!
- 7 days ago: We found a lock smith who made us new keys for the van! – and then traveled to Crawford State Park where I drove the RV over a spillway full of moss and started sliding down, down, down…. ah! finally made it to dry pavement just before hitting those flimsy posts that are supposed to keep you from careening off into the ravine. You never know what kind of excitement you can find on the road. It felt like ice!
- 6 days ago: I played in Caney KS at an OPC church, which is very near the Ingalls’ (Little House on the Prairie) KS homestead.
- 5 days ago: We traveled to Manhattan, KS and got to sit for two days at my sister-in-law’s place where we celebrated Elaine’s 9th Birthday!
- 2 days ago: I played at Westview Community Church in the morning services and once again met some great folks and a few very good musicians.
- 1 day ago: I got to sit down with a new friend to teach a guitar lesson which really just turned into talking guitars, approach to music, how to play tone-fully, etc…
