6:30 am Child number 1 and child number 2 are reading quietly in their beds. The two little ones (numbers 4 and 5) are still sleeping peacefully. Elliot, child number 3, is back here chattering at me on any number of topics – how fast his toes are growing, how he accidentally picked the toothbrush with the bad guy from Cars at the dentist last week because it was his favorite color (blue), and pondering the results of building a playground in the motor home. My goal for the summer: teach Elliot to read.

Hey! This is the first time I’ve found this angle of communication!
Cheers to the construction crew!!
Hmmm . . . I think you should consider revising your goal for the summer . . . have a baby, and help Elliot build a playground in the motorhome. That will consume 24 hours every day.
Love, betsy.
